Kaisercraft "Off the Wall" Layout Shares

Hi there it's Louise today and I would love to share what I've been doing with the new "Off the Wall" Collection from Kaisercraft.  This is a new release for November and is a good one for showing off the boys in your life.

I've been scrapping a lot of 8.5"x11" layouts lately and I have found that switching things up has really sparked my creativity in a very positive way.  I usually have about three "go-to" page designs that I use over and over again but designing on a smaller scale has forced me to try some new ways of setting up my layouts- give it a try next time you are feeling a bit stuck in a creative rut.

Here's my first layout- I used patterned papers and some stickers to create the foundation of my page, then added some machine stitching, ink splats and sequins for added texture.

Here is my second layout.  Once again I used patterned papers and stickers with machine stitching and ink splats, but I used enamel dots and twine too. I also curled up the edges of all my paper elements to "rough it up" a little.

Enjoy the Little Things

Good Morning, happiness is fussy cutting..... I know, I know, I can hear the grumbles from here, but it is for me I love a great pattern and to sit down, put my feet up with a coffee or a glass of wine while watching a TV show and cut away...... its a great evening for sure. This is why I was so happy when I saw this floral piece in the Kaisercraft Rustic Harmony Range..... 

Dont forget the Collectables pack when your buying the papers, they are so helpful, especially for a quick diecut title, why not add a couple together?

Foam mount is your best friend when your a fussy cutter, so dont forget to grab a roll or two when your in store......

Sometimes you need a bit of bling, why not follow a shape and mix up your pearl sizes throughout the layout, I love to include them on the photo as well as it ties it all together. 

A tip to creating a heart on your page, start off with the bottom layer and make sure that it is a perfect heart then once you have stuck it down build up the layers with different flower sprays.

Webster's Pages "Nest" Layout Shares

Hi everyone!  It's Louise again with some more layout shares.  Webster's Pages have been producing some stunning collections lately and "Nest" is their new gorgeous offering.

Here is my first page- as soon as I saw the sheet of paper covered in doilies I knew I wanted to cut them up!  Here I've used them to mat my photo.  I kept this simple since the papers shine so brightly on their own, but I did add some ink splats here and there.

Here is my next page- back to my usual clean and simple style.  I cut up the journal card sheet to create blocks for my grid. 

I also used some of the vellum sheet to create a shaker box filled with blue and gold sequins in the bottom left hand corner. Please excuse my photo- it was a rushed phone photo!

Last of all I created a pocket page and cut pieces from the vellum sheet to add some transparency.  It looks great hanging up in the shop with the light shining through the gorgeous vellum.  I also created a shaker pocket with gold and silver sequins.  Here is a sneak- to see the whole page, you'll just have to pop in to the shop ;-)

Good Morning, Rikki here with another share, and I must say this layout was inspired by the very talented Louise Nelson, you can check out her blog here. I have been a huge fan of her work for years and I have always wanted to try her style of scrapping but it has always intimated me. This year for one of my many scrapping goals was to try this at least once.... 

When I saw this piece of My Minds Eye Just Sayin' I knew it was time to at least try....

Currently in store, they have these fabulous leave charms and the cutest frame charm!!! So same treatment that I mentioned the other day was given to the charms to boost the colour.

Its time to go into your stash of embossing powders, I have 100's of them in soooooooooo many different colours !!! All you need is a Clear ink pad, a stencil and some powder and your ready to go to add another layer to your layout. 

Once your happy with your seed and micro beads add a little glitter and then use the Prima Color Bloom Mist to spray over everything, (dont forget to mask your photo off). These mists are in store now.

To help grab some of the beads and to build a layer around the frame I used Prima Art Basic's - Modeling Paste, I must say this is one of ''smoothest'' paste's I have ever used and its texture build up is amazing.

Everything Has Beauty

Hi, Rikki here with another share today using the luxurious tones of My Minds Eye Just Sayin' range. Have you ever had the perfect photo and just waited for the perfect papers, as soon as I saw this glasses piece I knew things would fall into place quickly, and whats better than that?

Dont forget to add a little glossy accents on Your Creative Wings Arrow Chipboard to highlight the etched details, like the heart.... And if you spray them with some spray paint it makes things quick and easy.

I am a huge fan of a paper bag, it adds another layer and texture but also allows some hidden journalling or something just for my kids to discover later.

Why not fussy cut out some of the glasses, just add a tooth pick and you have a embellishment for perfect coordinated.

Scattering the Your Creative Wings Geo Tags - Heart and Home is a great way to draw your eye around your layers and layout.

Family Portrait

Hi hope you are all keeping well, Rikki here with another share today. This time its back to the Kaisercraft Rustic Harmony featuring the lovely Your Creative Wings chipboard Scribble Heart, which also nearly didnt make it onto the page, because I wanted to hoard it as I love it so much, but thankfully there are more in store so I have one for the stash.

The Kaisercraft Rustic Harmony Collectables are perfect to add titles and loads of layers, just add some foam mount for instant layers.

See I told you that the Your Creative Wings Heart was a stunning piece of chipboard, I am so glad I kept it in the raw form, but it did take along time to come to that decision. 

One of my favourite things to do is cut the tags in half and spread them throughout the layout, for layering, it adds more layers without the bulk and it really extends your stash.

When doing multiple layers you cant go past double sided tape (stocked in store), if you leave a centermetre or two from your edge it allows your to tuck extra tags in between layers,
